Is your time management getting out of control?

Do you feel like you are running out of hours in the day?

Are you too busy for Marketing?

Have you ever stopped to think that maybe it just feels that way?   A term sometimes used for these types of feelings is “limiting belief.” And believe me, if you learn anything from this article, you are not too busy for Marketing your business. It’s time to get control of your Time Management.

What’s Stopping You from Gaining Control?

A limiting belief is something that stops or limits us from achieving our goals and objectives when it just simply isn’t true. Another word for this is EXCUSE.

So perhaps, your network marketing or online business isn’t going quite the way you want. A convenient excuse might be that you just don’t have enough time to do it. Well that probably just isn’t true, or at least it’s false in a very high percentage of cases. Don’t let this limiting belief steal your dreams. I’m going to give you some tips on how you can organize your daily activities to get the most out of what little time you may have available to make your online business a success.

Once you have your plan in place, it’s time to create your daily and weekly task list.

Since I have a full-time job, my time management is crucial for my success. Time spent on marketing my business is extremely important to me, so I want to spend it wisely. My task list is divided into 3 parts:

  • Morning or before work
  • Evening or after work and dinner
  • Weekends

Within each of those sections of my task list I have 2 further breakdowns:

  • Must do
  • Optional

This task structure provides me with the perfect layout to know exactly what needs done and when it needs done each and every day.  The reason I break out the Must Do and Optional Sections is so that when the unexpected crops up (which it always does) and I don’t have as much time as I’d like to devote to my business, I know that if I focus on the Must Do section I will be getting the essentials accomplished for that day.

You can up your time management game by creating a simple list like this for yourself. I used Microsoft OneNote to create mine, but you could you Excel, Google Sheets, Word or even a plain paper notebook (if they still make those.) Take a hard look at your day and create a list that makes sense for you. Prioritize and focus on the things that are important. Sometimes when things get overwhelming, you need to remember why you are doing this in the first place. If that desire or need is strong enough, you will figure out a way to make it work. 

Hopefully this article with help to dispel your limiting belief that you don’t have enough time to succeed at network marketing or your online business.
